Day Care - Early Years Childcare for 0 to 5 years old

I provide childcare for children from 3 months to 5 years old. Throughout the day children play, explore and take part in many activities, adult led as well as child led accordingly to their age and abilities. A wide range of toys and resources is available for children to support their curiosity and learn through play process. Days at Cuddly Ducklings are designed to challenge and inspire the unique abilities of each child. Children are given a real-life experiences like cooking, shopping or gardening. Daily outings to Morden Hall Park, Morden Recreation Grounds, Ravensbury Park, Deen City Farm or Aquarium provide many opportunities to learn, investigate and have fun. Each and every child in my childcare setting is treated as an individual and extraordinary person. I support their independence and help them to become confident but kind people. The children I look after are caring and they look out for each other. They are all a superstars!

All the activities are based on Early Years Foundation Stage Framework that cover 7 areas of learning and that are divided into 2 areas:

Prime Areas of Learning

1. Communication, language and literacy

2. Physical development

3. Personal, social and emotional development

Specific Areas of Learning

1. Literacy

2. Mathemathics

3. Understanding the World

4. Expressive Arts and Design

Children’s development is tracked based on a daily observations and monthly assessments. The progress, all the achievements and concerns are shared and discussed with parents.
Each child is treated as a unique individual and has a folder where all their precious moments and achievements are recorded. When your child moves on to their next adventure ( a school or a different setting) they take their folder and the memories with them.
