I am qualified and experienced Ofsted registered family friendly childminder in Morden offering a wide range of childcare services. My offer was designed to provide flexible childcare to support families. I have created a loving and caring environment filled with fun and laughter; a place where children can be children.
Being mother myself, I know how difficult separation with a child can be. I understand how hard it is to leave your precious baby with strangers, because I had to do it myself. Having that first hand experience, I will do everything I can to make it easier for you by providing a personalised approach to suit the needs of your child and your family. My qualifications, knowledge and experience allow me to provide a ‘school nursery’ level of learning in a friendly and homely environment. By offering the children the opportunities to explore and create, we stimulate their development and teach them valuable life skills.
My setting is located behind the corner from Morden Hall Park, 5 minutes away from Abbotsbury Primary School and within a 10 minutes walk from Morden Tube Station and other transport links. Situated in between two parks, Morden Recreation Grounds and Morden Hall Park so the children can benefit from everything the parks have to offer: gigantic fields, playgrounds, a city farm, garden centre and an aquarium!
A childminder is a person working in their own home, looking after other people’s children. Childminding provides similar experience to a nursery, but with more personalised approach. Childminders are registered with and inspected by Ofsted thus ensuring they attain a certain level of skills, knowledge and competency to fulfil their many roles and meet all legal requirements.
Childminders work to the same learning requirements as any other Early Years Educator (School Nursery, Day Nursery, Pre-School) providing support and stimulating environments, so that the children can develop and learn according to their own needs and abilities.
Home based childcare gives children nurturing real-life learning experiences, like shopping, cooking, gardening and outings to the farm, park or library. Childminders are flexible and spontaneous, changing their plans to accommodate the needs of the individual child or to make the most of the weather!
Childminders have only a small group of children in their care and which means each child gets individual attention and helps to create a close relationship with the child as well as their parents.
Caring for mixed age ranges means siblings can be cared for together, helping them to build and maintain a strong bond which in turn makes it easier for the parents.
